Clematis montana ‘Rubens’

Description

Clematis montana ‘Rubens’ is a fast-growing, deciduous climbing plant that can reach up to 8-10 meters in height. It produces an abundance of pale pink, star-shaped flowers in late spring,  which can be up to 5 cm in diameter. The flowers have a light vanilla fragrance. Its foliage consists of dark green, divided leaves that take on a bronze or purple tint when young. This clematis thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. It’s ideal for covering walls, fences, or trellises.
