Festuca glauca

Festuca glauca is a popular ornamental grass with fine needle like blue grey leaves. In summer short spikey seed heads appear. It is a very hardy plant and thrives well in poor soils and is drought tolerant. It won’t resist wet or poorly-drained soils. Festuca Glauca is effective in mass planting, on edges or planted underneath other taller plants. Best planted in sun but will tolerate semi shade.
