Anemanthele lessoniana

Anemanthele lessoniana or wind grass is a graceful NZ native tussock-type grass with arching copper-tinged foliage. In summer, it is covered with rose red, airy flower stems. Anemanthele is a taller grass and has a beautiful wavy form which is flowing in the slightest breeze. It definitely reflects its common name: Wind Grass. This tussock thrives well in full sun and semi shade and is very hardy. Can be grown in any type of soil.
