Heuchera ‘Amethyst’

Heuchera ‘Amethyst’ is a hybrid of the Coral Bells selection. The wavy edged leaves are burgundy with vivid cerise purple undersides. In summer white flowers on long stalks appear. Heuchera are herbaceous plants but in the milder climate more or less evergreen. Plant them in a partial shade or shady spot as they don’t like the hot summer sun. Combines very well with ferns and hostas and are terrific plants for adding a touch of color towards the front of a shady garden.
