Imperata ‘Red Baron’

Imperata ‘Red Baron’ is an eye-catching ornamental grass also know as blood grass. The leaves are upright and bright green with striking blood red tips. The colour intensify during autumn. Imperata ‘Red Baron’ thrives in any well drained soil in full sun or part shade and is an extremely drought resistant. It will  quickly form  a dense clump but dies off in winter to come back in spring. Blood grass is a great plant for edging or massed as a ground cover.
