Lavender ‘Viridis’

100-148 Lavandula Viridis

100-148 Lavandula Viridis

Lavender ‘Viridis’ is a rare lavender variety. The lovely blooms resemble these of the Lavandula stoechas except the colour. The blooms are pineapple shaped green with light yellow bracts.  An wonderful change from all the regular purple and blue varieties.
In a mild climate it will keep flowering in winter. Lavender attracts bees and butterflies to your garden. A good plant for rockeries, a dry bank or a pot but can also be planted as a low flowering hedge.
