Description
Helleborus orientalis is a hardy, clump-forming perennial valued for its early spring blooms and evergreen foliage. It typically grows to a height of 30 to 45 centimetres and spreads about 45 centimetres wide. The nodding, cup-shaped flowers are cream white. Thriving in part to full shade and moist, well-drained soil, Helleborus orientalis is ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or underplanting trees and shrubs.
