Arenaria ‘Avalanche’

Description

Arenaria ‘Avalanche’ is a low-growing, evergreen perennial forming a dense, cushion-like mat of fine green foliage. In late spring to early summer, it is smothered in a profusion of small, pure white, star-shaped flowers, creating a striking “avalanche” effect. Growing to just 5 to 10 centimetres high and spreading up to 30 centimetres wide, it’s ideal for rockeries, edging, alpine gardens, or between paving stones. ‘Avalanche’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and is drought-tolerant once established, making it a great choice for low-maintenance and water-wise gardens.
