Chionochloa rubra, commonly known as red tussock grass, is a striking ornamental grass admired for its upright, arching foliage that matures to rich bronze-red tones. Typically growing to 1–1.5 m in height with a spread of around 1 m, it forms an architectural clump ideal for feature planting, mixed borders, prairie-style gardens, and contemporary landscapes.
