Description
Erect shrub with glossy, oval-shaped dark chocolate brown leaves which darken to almost black in winter. Fast growing. Provides a good contrast to greens and silvers in the garden. Hardy and tolerant of poor, dry or sandy soils, coastal spray, sun or part shade. It will lose good colour in full shade. Avoid wet sites. Frost tender.
