Description
Dietes bicolor, or the yellow wild iris, is a hardy, clump-forming perennial reaching 80cm in height. It features arching, sword-like green leaves and pale yellow flowers with dark brown markings, blooming in spring and summer. Each flower lasts only a day, but new blooms appear regularly. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, it prefers well-drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Ideal for borders, water-wise gardens, and mass planting.
