Escallonia ‘Red Knight’ is a hardy evergreen shrub. From spring through autumn intense cerise flowers appear against the glossy green leaves. A rapid growing plant that is excellent for hedging, screens, background planting. Escallonia ‘Red Knight’ thrives best in full sun or partial shade with average type soils that are moist and free-draining. It is frost hardy and suitable for coastal areas.
