Description
Hebe ‘Marie Antoinette’ is a low growing small evergreen shrub with spear-shaped narrow leaves, that are dusky pink underneath and emerge from purple-red leave buds. From late spring to summer masses of mauve purple flower spikes appear that fade to white during summer and autumn. It prefers full sun to part shade in well drained soil. It thrives well in windy areas and is drought tolerant and frost hardy once established. A good plant for a mixed border.
