Leptinella rotundata

Description

Leptinella rotundata is a low-growing, spreading ground cover known for its delicate, fern-like foliage in shades of green to bronze. The small, rounded leaflets form a dense, carpet-like mat, making it ideal for use between pavers, in rock gardens, or as a lawn alternative in low-traffic areas.

It typically grows to a height of 2–4 cm and can spread up to 30–40 cm or more. Leptinella rotundata prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established and offers subtle, button-like yellow flowers in late spring to early summer.
