Description
Muehlenbeckia astonii is a NZ native deciduous shrub with tangled zig-zagging branches. It bears small heart shaped leaves with miniature flowers and white fruit with a black seed on top. Muehlenbeckia is very hardy and tolerates quite dry and windy conditions. It makes an intresting contrast plant and a good low hedge as well.
