Protea ‘Pink Ice’ is from all Protea one of the easiest to grow. It has narrow, oval leaves,which are medium green with leathery, hard texture. In autumn and winter for spectacular pink flowers appear which are excellent as cut flowers. Protea ‘Pink Ice’ is very hardy, tolerates different soil types that are wet or dry and thrives very well in windy areas. Do not fertilize, especially with phosphorus which cause protea to falter. A very low maintenance fast growing shrub which is a real show off in winter in your garden.
