Description

Pseudowintera colorata, commonly known as horopito, is a NZ native shrub with colorful pepper-tasting foliage. Fresh growth is red, and mature leaves are more yellowish green with red.  Pseudowintera grows in sun or semi shade and can tolerate dry periods. It is a slow grower but very colorful and attractive in your border.
