Description

Scleranthus biflorus is a NZ native slow growing moss like ground cover. It forms a green mat of very fine small overlapping leaves which feels like a cushion. The Scleranthus biflorus is a bit less dense than the Scleranthus uniflorus. In summer tiny single flowers appear followed by small berries on short stalks. It prefers a position on a open sunny site with reasonable soil that does not get too dry. Great for rockeries.
