Scleranthus uniflorus

Description

Scleranthus uniflorus is a NZ native slow growing moss like ground cover. It forms a dense green mat of very fine small overlapping leaves which feels like a cushion. In summer tiny single flowers appera followed by small berries o short stalks. It prefers a position on a open sunny site with reasonable soil that does not get too dry. Great for rockeries.
